12-20 to 12-25-11

What a crazy busy week! Of course Tom and I stopped fighting we always do and we can never stay angry with each other to long as we love to make each other laugh

I spent my week finding just the perfect gifts, visiting friends, going to gatherings and celebrating with family.

I may or may not have cut my own bangs…and I may or may not have cut them a wee bit short…sigh…I am glad my hair grows quickly

I am getting used to it.

12-27-11

Listening to Pandora Radio I think they had to much holiday eggnog. I put in station: U2 “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and get Van Halen “Good Enough”
I just don’t get the similarities

12-28-11

Finished Smokin’ Seventeen. Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite brain relaxing, belly laughing out loud authors.

Now to wait for Explosive Eighteen…I am number 71 on the library list.

12-30-11

After a busy day at work headed over to a friends house for ham sandwiches, soup and delicious oven roasted veggies. I think roasting an assortment of veggies in the oven is one of my new favorite things to do. Did a combo of mushrooms, potatoes and leeks. Did a second pan of cauliflower and brussels sprouts. Both were drizzled with olive oil and some herbs: rosemary, pinch of salt and pepper for potato one and parsley, pinch of salt and pepper for the cauliflower and brussels sprouts combo.

After all that good food we decided to play the Michael Jackson dance moves game on the Wii. Was really fun but my belly was so full and I didn’t realize how much you had to move around in the game so we didn’t last long.

After a really nice walk with my mom and the dogs at Whatcom Falls.

Then it was over to friends house for pizza’s and birthday cake for hour friends birthday and New Years Eve celebration East Coast time

I am really glad that 2011 is done. I hate to wish away any time but 2011 was a very challenging year. Looking forward to 2012 and a fresh new year.
