Blissful Blabs 2012 January 23 to 25

1-23-12

Went in early to set up the new printer/fax/scanner. Yes new one since the old one is still not fixed. Then after work Tom brought the dogs with him when he picked me up and we did the Whatcom Falls Stairs. I was able to go up and down 3 times. Then I wanted to collapse.

After work went to Cash and Carry as our friend who works there told us about the great deal they have right now on Earthbound Farms boxed/washed baby spinach and lettuce.

It is a fabulous deal! A little over $6 for a HUGE box of fresh greens. I got one of spinach and one spring mix. Bagged it all up and shared some with my mom.

So for dinner tonight we had a nice salad followed by spinach cooked in leftover garlic butter I had from the past nights garlic bread. Also cooked up some jalepeno chicken saugages from trader joe’s and threw those on top. NOM.

1-24-12

Incredible windy rainy day, the roof at work sounded like it was going to blow off. My mom asked us to dinner when we went to go pick up Shy so I didn’t have to cook. woot. She made an incredible French lentil soup filled with carrots, onions, and potatoes so good.

Then we went home and watched Henry’s Crime.
Released from prison for a crime he didn’t commit, an ex-con targets the same bank he was sent away for robbing.

Tom liked it but I found it a little slow. I in fact fell asleep about half way through. sigh.

1-25-12

So today I was not going to eat any bread as I have been so bad lately as far as eating bread and pasta. Then my coworker brings in homemade cinnamon rolls. There goes my no bread resolution right. Sigh. At least it was so good and flaky and butter and gooey with frosting. If I am gong to blow it I should blow it good.

The new JC Penny commercial is really annoying but has a super cute rottweiler in it for about 2 seconds.
